Onoe got two new betta's! ^^ my sister didn't come over for supper but she did come a little after to grab some left over and then watch my moms loser show that she only watches to see pieces of her summer home, since it was filmed at the lake. Anyway, she came over and we watched the show and then she asked me if I wanted to go shopping so I got ready and thought to myself "I wonder if I can get her to go to the Petcetera in the north end. I never thought she would want to go so far but when we were walking out to the car she said "where's the next closest walmart? so I suggested the one that just happens to be across from the petcetera. It's actually moved a bit over but it's still in the area. So I'm quite happy about how everything worked out. We went there and it was "her idea". Mwahaha! I mentioned that I wouldn't mind going to Petcetera so we went and they had betta's and I was happy. They were all pretty much the same kind though. No special differences except for colour of course. So I picked out two, one that's a very light, pale purple and blue colour, sorta one fading into the other and the other is red and bluey green. ^^ Hmm... the purple and blue one is in the small tank on the floor right now...I think I'm gonna move him up here next to me so I can watch him. There he's been moved. Wow...his water is cold... I shall now put a heater in the tank. What temp do betta's like? There, and it's already warming up. =) With closer investigation of the purple and blue one...He almost looks like he could be a full moon betta. If so, that rules. I highly doubt that he is though. I'd really like a half moon. They're expensive right now though. Onoe is happy with her new fish. =) Onoe will post about them in her newly joined communities some time.
Onoe forgot to say that the red and blueish green one is in her betta vase under a part of her new desks hutch. It looks happier than the one in the tank. Perhaps the tank is to big and cold right now. Betta's like small places. Onoe feels sorry for te ones at the store tough cause they're always kept in things that are way to small.
How does one type out a cackle? I need one here because I'm talking to Glover.
Onoe is happy. She has said hi to Glover and has two beautiful cuuuute betta's swimming on either side of her. The blue and purple one just found the source of the heat and is wrapped around it now. How cute. ^^ I think I will feed them. Yay! They eat! That means that the store fed them the same product because betta's are picky eaters. I suppose it could also mean that they never fed them in the store so they're so hungry they'll eat anything right now. I don't think that's the case though.
Glover gave Onoe an invitation for saying hi more often. In Onoe's courage she thinks she might do so.
Onoe hopes her betta's will not get sick from their new homes. Onoe bleached the vase and tank before she bought the fish and rinsed them out very well just in case. Onoe's betta's are acting normal though so she thinks they will be fine. =) Onoe has never had 2 male betta's at the same time before. Onoe wonders what would happen if she put them together... >=D Onoe wouldn't do that though.
Holy crap! Have you ever heard of a betta that was up for sale at $150? o.o That's crazy. I bet that's nothing too. I can't wait till I start breeding betta's. It sounds exciting and I think I'm gonna try it. It's taking time though cause you need a whole lotta crap to take care of the fry with. They're picky fish. I feel like posting in one of my fishy communities now.
